Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Senior Category Manager to lead strategic relationships with generic injectable and biosimilar manufacturers. You will drive contract negotiations, develop sourcing strategies, and coordinate with internal teams to align on commercialization and supply chain objectives.

A deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical wholesale/distribution landscape is essential. You will manage relationships with suppliers, analyze deals, and promote value creation while ensuring regulatory alignment

Qualifications

Broad experience in business, accounting, finance, sales, or marketing, with a four-year degree or equivalent.
Minimum seven years in directly related and progressively responsible roles.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical wholesale/distribution and supplier networks.
Ability to analyze deals, conduct cost/benefit reviews, and support negotiations.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier contract negotiations for generic injectables and biosimilars.
Develop formulary sourcing strategies and manage external manufacturing relationships.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain teams.
Manage trade affairs, launches, and supply disruptions to maintain service levels.
Advocate for Cencora in executive-level supplier engagements and reviews.
