Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Category Manager to develop strategic relationships with generic injectable and biosimilar manufacturers, lead supplier contract negotiations, and guide formulary sourcing strategies. The role also serves as a key liaison between Cencora's external partners and internal teams, including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain.

This position requires deep knowledge of generic sourcing/manufacturing, strong financial acumen, and superior negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years related experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical wholesale/distribution required.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate distribution service contracts and consolidate stakeholder feedback.
• Develop and manage generic injectable and biosimilar supplier relationships.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain.
• Drive cost-saving opportunities, rebates, and program promotions.
