Asana is seeking a People Partner based in San Francisco to act as a true business leader, shaping talent transformation at the functional leadership level. You will partner with senior leaders to develop organizational strategy, lead change, and ensure data-driven people decisions that align with our mission and values.

In this role you’ll drive department-level talent strategy, navigate ambiguity, and champion inclusive people practices.

Qualifications

• Typically 6–8 years of HR experience as a strategic HRBP or organizational consultant.
• Expert who has navigated large-scale organizational change and can influence without authority.
• Versatile communicator comfortable with spreadsheets and C-suite conversations.
• Independent problem solver managing large, complex cross-functional projects.
• Collaborative partner who coordinates with HR Centers of Excellence using data-driven insights.
• Analytic mindset with a focus on reducing biases in data-based decisions.
• Curious about AI tools and emerging technologies to boost productivity and collaboration.
• M&A experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic thought partnership by building department-level talent strategy initiatives that align with business outcomes.
• Navigate ambiguity to identify root issues in complex situations, presenting findings and socializing change with senior stakeholders.
• Lead change management by partnering with senior leaders to develop scalable change strategies and championing the vision.
• Consult and advise functional leads as a trusted advisor, handling complex people situations across teams.
• Leverage data literacy to interpret complex people data and translate findings into actionable decisions.
• Influence at scale by participating in headcount and strategic planning forums as the essential 'people voice.'
