Job summary

Rantec Power Systems, Inc is seeking a Materials Commodity Manager – PCBs to own the PCB portfolio, drive strategic sourcing, and manage day-to-day procurement. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to ensure capacity, lead times, and cost targets align with customer commitments.

Responsibilities include developing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and driving continuous improvement across the PCB supply base to support current and future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years of production support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems is desirable.
• Experience with APQP and AS9102 is desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB commodity strategy, balancing cost, delivery, and risk.
• Serve as PCB Buyer, manage MRP-driven purchasing and supplier communication.
• Develop sourcing, procurement, and capacity strategies for PCB supply base.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, quality, and cost drivers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Strategic Sourcing and Planning teams.
• Lead supplier audits, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
