Job summary

JetBlue Airways is seeking a Manager, Payroll Projects and Transformation to lead payroll projects and implementations impacting payroll and time tracking operations. You will oversee system optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and offshore resources while ensuring compliance and scalable processes.

The role requires strong project management, leadership, and payroll expertise, with travel up to 10% and a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or equivalent work experience with 4+ years in payroll
• 5+ years of payroll experience
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available
• Strong communication, change and project management skills
• Willing to travel overnight up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize payroll systems for accurate processing
• Mentor and scale the payroll project team
• Manage offshore resources on payroll tech projects
• Collaborate with People, Finance, IT and operations to streamline processes
• Provide PM support with planning, tracking, and status reporting
• Develop requirements and execute end-to-end system testing
• Build cross-functional relationships to support objectives
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices
• Maintain payroll systems with proper internal controls
• Create dashboards and KPIs for tracking
• Support post-implementation issues and data requests
