Job summary

Precision Recruiting Solutions Group is seeking a Human Resources Specialist - Payroll & Benefits to accurately process payroll and administer benefits in the Pittsburgh area. The role supports employees, management, vendors, and auditors while upholding confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

You will manage payroll activities, benefits enrollment, leave administration, and annual benefit education initiatives, ensuring timely reporting and data-driven insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR/related field.
• 3+ years of payroll, benefits administration, or HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll, direct deposits, adjustments, and payroll audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, leave, and workers’ compensation.
• Lead annual open enrollment, employee benefit education, and new hire benefits orientation.
• Manage leave administration, including FMLA, military leave, STD, and LTD claims in partnership with third-party vendors.
• Coordinate quarterly 401(k) committee meetings and lead the annual 401(k) audit.
• Reconcile benefit vendor invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
• Prepare reports, conduct audits, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, and other applicable regulations.
• Serve as a liaison between employees, management, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
