Job summary

Payroll & HR Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA is responsible for accurate weekly payroll for ~200 employees and for managing onboarding, HR records, and benefits administration during a technology transition.

The role includes compliance with payroll laws, coordination of payroll tax reporting, and serving as a resource for employees and management. A discretionary annual bonus and health benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive HR and payroll experience.
• Thorough understanding of payroll processing, HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• HR/payroll certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate weekly payroll for ~200 employees.
• Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, reimbursements, and employee changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Coordinate payroll tax reporting and system transitions.
• Manage onboarding, HR records, and benefits administration with providers.
