Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, HR, or a related role.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on time, including adjustments, voids, reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and leave
• Support benefits administration for new hires, open enrollment, and ongoing employee needs
• Manage 401(k) administration, including audits, committee materials, and coordination with advisors and recordkeepers
• Oversee leave administration and workers’ compensation claims
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
• Maintain knowledge of regulations including ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, and ACA
• Audit and analyze payroll and benefits data and prepare reports for leadership
• The Payroll Analyst will manage relationships with benefits and payroll vendors
• Reconcile vendor invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
• The Payroll Analyst will coordinate compliance reporting and audits
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll, benefits, and HR processes
• Support employee training and communication related to payroll and benefits
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
