Job summary
ATCC, a global nonprofit providing trusted biological materials, is hiring a remote Partnerships Manager to advance commercial strategy and growth through cross-functional business development and strategic partnerships. The role supports diligence, valuation, negotiations, governance, and implementation with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Science, Finance, and Legal.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of experience (or equivalent: Master's 6+, PhD 3+, HS Diploma 12+)
- Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, licensing, or related growth initiatives
- Experience coordinating cross-functional diligence across commercial, financial, scientific, operational, legal, licensing, quality, or technology stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, proposal development, negotiation support, and executive communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects, opportunity pipelines, timelines, dashboards, metrics, and reporting
- Scientific fluency with biological products or related life sciences concepts
- Ability to represent the organization professionally in external meetings and industry forums
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and engage prospective partners aligned with commercial strategy and portfolio priorities
- Conduct market research, competitive analyses, and business case development with financial modeling and risk assessments
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence across scientific, commercial, financial, legal, and licensing teams
- Support partner negotiations, term sheets, opportunity planning, and execution across initiatives
- Evaluate licensing, investments, joint ventures, and related opportunities with diligence and implementation planning
- Maintain partnership pipelines, governance, reporting, and status communications with process-improvement initiatives
