Job summary

ATCC is seeking a Director, Partnerships to lead strategic commercial partnerships that support its scientific mission and growth. This remote role works with Commercial leadership and cross-functional partners to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and implement partnerships, licensing opportunities, and alliances.

You will oversee a partnerships team, guiding complex transactions from opportunity identification through execution and value realization, with a focus on biotech and life sciences

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading strategic partnerships, alliances, licensing arrangements, and related growth transactions.
• Experience developing business cases, valuation approaches, financial models, scenario analyses, and risk assessments.
• Strong experience leading complex negotiations, diligence activities, and agreement development with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to assess capability, technology, content, data, and market-access opportunities.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, performance measures, dashboards, and portfolio management practices.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and coordinating cross-functional partnership teams.

Responsibilities

• Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic partnerships roadmap aligned with ATCC's objectives.
• Business Development & Market Engagement: Cultivate pipeline for partnerships, licensing, and collaborations.
• Strategic Partnerships & Alliances: Lead assessments, negotiation, and implementation of partnerships and licensing.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with multiple departments to align strategies.
• Strategic Commercial Partnerships & Growth Initiatives: Identify opportunities to expand capabilities and market reach.
• Partnership Performance & Team Leadership: Manage governance, metrics, and portfolio value.
