Job summary

SOLANA FOUNDATION's Asymmetric Research team seeks a strategic partnerships manager to join the business development group. You will build a pipeline targeting crypto/AI builders, positioning security as a leading infrastructure partner and closing multi-stage deals.

You’ll travel to conferences and meetups, engage in dinners, and work in NYC with in-person collaboration at the 1 World Trade Center office, guiding engagements from outreach to closure.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing complex, larger deals (1–2+ years).
• Genuinely persuasive when addressing skeptical buyers and changing their mind.
• Strong market instincts and knowing where to be for opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize prospects (crypto/DeFi, exchanges, AI firms).
• Attend conferences, meetups, dinners and other in-market events.
• Run full-cycle deals: outreach, scoping, sizing engagements, closing.
• Make a compelling case for security as a priority.
• Use market signals to reach teams before they search for a security partner.
