Job summary

Solana Foundation seeks a Senior IT Security Engineer to own and mature the enterprise security program across a global team. You will manage identity, endpoints, and SaaS security, coordinating with the CISO to implement security strategy and guard critical assets while enabling rapid crypto-enabled execution.

The role requires hands-on experience with SSO, EDR, MDM, and cloud security (GitHub, AWS, GCP), plus scripting for automation. This is a high-ownership security leadership position.

Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure and enterprise security experience.
• Hands-on with SSO, EDR, and MDM tooling.
• Experience securing and managing a SaaS fleet at scale.
• Experience configuring GitHub, AWS, and GCP securely.
• Scripting to automate security workflows and integrations.
• Experience with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment and ongoing management of identity and access management.
• Configure and manage EDR across the fleet.
• Manage MDM and enforce secure baseline configurations.
• Govern SaaS application security across the organization.
• Collaborate across teams to secure endpoints and lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Implement access control systems per CISO standards.
• Lead vulnerability management, scanning, triage and remediation.
• Audit cloud configurations for GitHub, AWS, GCP per security policies.
• Support incident response and backup testing activities.
• Maintain ISO 27001 / SOC 2 compliance.
