Job summary

Asymmetric Research in the United States is seeking a strategic partnerships manager to join our business development team. You’ll engage crypto/AI builders and position us as the security and infrastructure partner of choice, building a pipeline through outbound outreach, conferences, and in-person relationship-building.

You’ll own full-cycle deals: outreach, scoping, sizing engagements, and closing. Target prospects include protocols, exchanges, L1/L2 teams, fintechs, and AI companies.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise sales experience: 1–2+ years closing complex, larger deals.
• Genuinely persuasive: comfortable making a case to skeptical, sophisticated buyers and changing their mind.
• Strong market instincts: you read a market and know where to be, not just who to call.
• Self-directed: you’ll get trust and room to define the role in a flat team.
• NYC-based and in-market: you live in/near NYC and work ground game in person.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize prospects (established protocols, exchanges, L1/L2 teams, fintechs, and AI companies).
• Attend conferences, meetups, dinners, and other events to meet decision-makers.
• Run full-cycle deals: outreach, scoping conversations, sizing engagements, and closing.
• Make a compelling, persuasive case for why security should be a priority.
• Use market signals to reach teams before they seek a security partner.
