Job description

Squad Health is building at the forefront of AI and drug innovation tackling large-scale operational challenges with technology, speed, and customer obsession. We move quickly, operate with high ownership, and work closely with customers to solve real-world problems at scale. As we continue to expand, we are looking for exceptional operators in New York who are excited to build, scale, and shape the future of AI-enabled healthcare operations.

Joining Squad Health means working on meaningful problems, collaborating with ambitious teams, and having the opportunity to create measurable impact in a rapidly evolving industry.

Our platform helps medical practices reduce the administrative friction involved in specialty medication access benefits investigation, prior authorization, patient assistance, and pharmacy routing so care teams spend less time chasing workflows and patients start therapy faster. As we expand from individual practices into larger provider organizations, we're building deeper partnerships with health systems, MSOs, and large specialty groups that want to standardize medication-access operations across their networks.

THE ROLE

We're hiring a Strategic Partnerships Lead to build and own Squad's enterprise motion across health systems, MSOs, and large specialty groups. Your buyers are hospital COOs, VPs of Revenue Cycle, VPs of Specialty Pharmacy, CMIOs, and physician-group administrators.

This is not a role where you inherit a mature territory and run an established playbook there isn't one yet. You'll help decide which organizations matter most, where Squad has the strongest wedge, who needs to believe in the partnership, how the value story changes by stakeholder, and what a successful enterprise rollout looks like. You'll work directly with company leadership and cross-functionally with Product and Operations to move strategic organizations from first conversation through evaluation, agreement, rollout, and expansion.

We're intentionally flexible on exact years of experience. What matters most is evidence that you can open complex healthcare organizations, navigate multiple stakeholders, create conviction, and carry a partnership all the way through execution. This is an onsite role based in our New York office we believe the best enterprise partnerships get built in person.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enterprise account strategy: Identify and prioritize the health systems, MSOs, and large specialty groups where Squad can create the most value; build account plans and stakeholder maps.
  • Open doors and create executive champions: Build relationships with service-line leaders, operators, physicians, pharmacy leadership, and revenue-cycle teams through outbound, warm introductions, and in-person engagement.
  • Discovery and value design: Understand how medication-access work is handled today, where the friction and cost sit, and translate that into Squad's value case for each organization.
  • Navigate complex buying committees: Multi-thread clinical, operational, financial, technical, security, legal, and procurement stakeholders without losing momentum.
  • Structure the partnership: Work with leadership to define scope, rollout model, EMR integration requirements, and success measures for each strategic organization.
  • Drive agreements to completion: Own the path from first meeting through evaluation, proposal, internal alignment, and formal commitment.
  • Quarterback rollout and expansion: Stay close after commitment; coordinate with Product and Operations to clear blockers and set up expansion across sites or specialties.
  • Build the playbook: Turn what works into repeatable account-selection criteria, discovery frameworks, and deal-review processes for the next stage of Squad's growth.
  • Coordinate with the provider-growth/BDR team so individual-practice accounts that grow into multi-site groups get escalated into the enterprise motion at the right time.
QUALIFICATIONS
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years across enterprise healthcare sales, strategic partnerships, strategic growth, or business development, with evidence of personally opening and advancing complex relationships with health systems, MSOs, large medical groups, or similarly sophisticated healthcare buyers.
  • A specific, verifiable enterprise deal or partnership you personally sourced and carried from first conversation through close you'll be asked to walk through it.
  • Comfort selling beyond a single champion you can navigate clinical, operational, financial, technical, and executive stakeholders in the same account.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership startup environment, including travel as needed for strategic partner meetings and industry events.
SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
  • Health-system navigation understands how decisions actually get made inside large provider organizations; can map power, influence, and blockers.
  • Executive discovery asks sharp questions, understands the operating model, and surfaces the real reason an organization would change.
  • Partnership design moves beyond "demo the product" to shape a practical model that works for both organizations.
  • Commercial judgment prioritizes the right accounts and recognizes a real opportunity versus a performative one.
  • Cross-functional leadership aligns Product, Operations, and the customer around one clear path forward without formal authority.
  • Executive communication credible with physicians, operators, and C-suite leaders alike; concise when the room is senior, detailed when execution requires it.
WHY JOIN SQUAD HEALTH
  • Build don't inherit. There is no legacy enterprise motion to work within you will design how Squad sells to the largest organizations in specialty medicine.
  • Direct access to founders and leadership. Your deals, judgement calls, and wins are visible at the top of the company from day one.
  • Real equity upside in a company building at the center of AI and specialty medication access a category with no dominant incumbent yet.
  • Genuine ownership of the full arc of a partnership, from identifying the account through rollout and expansion.
  • Work in person, in New York, with a team that believes the best companies are still built in a room together.
  • Meaningful early-stage equity.
  • 100% employer-paid employee health benefits.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Flatiron office in New York City
