Job summary

DTID seeks a strategic analyst to support its international development programs from the United States. You will conduct research, analyze opportunities, and prepare proposals, concept notes and implementation plans that shape DTID's strategy and growth.

You will work with governments, partners and civil society to advance sponsorships and collaborations, track progress, and identify risks, ensuring clear briefings and timely reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent research and written briefing skills
• Strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to support DTID's strategic planning
• Assess new organisational, programme, partnership and business-development opportunities
• Develop strategic proposals, concept notes, business cases and implementation plans
• Support sponsorship, partnership and government engagement proposals
• Prepare discussion papers, executive briefings and strategy reports
• Identify partnership opportunities with governments, organisations and companies
• Monitor implementation of strategic initiatives and identify emerging risks
