Job summary

Splash is seeking a highly organized Strategic Partnerships Officer to strengthen our global Development function and support high-value partnerships and philanthropy. This hands-on role spans prospect research, partnership support, fundraising operations, data management, and senior external engagement.

Working with the CPDO and the global Development team, you will identify prospective partners, prepare leaders for conversations, and ensure opportunities are followed through with discipline.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience in fundraising, philanthropy, partnerships, business development, research, international development, consulting or a related field.
• Excellent research, analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to turn detailed information into concise, decision-useful briefings.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
• Confidence working with CRM systems, data, spreadsheets and digital research tools; Salesforce experience is helpful but not essential.
• Comfort working across teams, cultures and time zones, and with senior leaders and sensitive information.
• Commercial and political awareness, curiosity, sound judgement and a genuine interest in philanthropy, strategic partnerships and Splash's mission.
• Comfort using AI-enabled research and productivity tools, with the judgement to verify information and use them appropriately.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospect research & partnership support: research prospective funders and partners; prepare profiles and briefing materials.
• Pipeline, CRM & data management: maintain fundraising records in Salesforce and Asana; ensure data hygiene and accurate pipeline stages.
• Donor, pipeline & convening coordination: coordinate global pipeline reviews and support senior-level engagement.
• Development operations: assist with gift entry, calendars, reporting, and shared drives.
