The Strategic Partnership Manager plays a key role in identifying, developing, and nurturing high-value partnerships to drive growth and strengthen our market position. This role is responsible for cultivating relationships with strategic partners—including brands, platforms, consultants, and marketplaces—that align with our logistics capabilities, client verticals, and long-term objectives.

This individual will act as a connector between internal teams and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration that delivers mutual value. Experience in logistics, fulfillment, ecommerce, or related industries is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Identify and evaluate new strategic partnership opportunities aligned with company goals and target markets (e.g., fashion, beauty, consumer goods).
  2. Develop, negotiate, and manage partnership agreements, including co-marketing, technology integrations, and referral programs.
  3. Act as the main point of contact for key partners, ensuring communication is consistent and value is continuously delivered.
  4. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to co-develop go-to-market strategies with partners that drive leads and increase brand awareness. Coordinate with internal teams (Ops, Tech, Client Services) to ensure seamless onboarding, integration, and ongoing success of partnership initiatives.
  5. Monitor performance and ROI of partnership programs.
  6. Create robust reports that provide insights, trends, and actionable items to executive leadership.
  7. Attend trade shows, webinars, and partner events to represent the brand and strengthen industry connections.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years experience in partnerships, business development, or account management—ideally in logistics, ecommerce, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of 3PL services and the ecommerce ecosystem (platforms, marketplaces, agencies, technologies).
  • Proven ability to build and grow strategic relationships that result in measurable business impact.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and develop strategic insights.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce), partnership platforms, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Aligned with Bergen’s How We Work Together Principles, including investing in people development, creating a safe environment, respecting others, working as part of a team, trusting others, having passion for our work and clients, good communication skills, and high accountability.
