Job summary

Onebrief is seeking a Partner Engagement Manager to serve as the trusted technical partner for customers, maintaining fluency in the platform and translating updates into practical impact for workflows in dynamic, potentially high-stakes environments.

You will act as the primary liaison between customers and Onebrief, delivering role-specific training as the product evolves and ensuring users adopt new capabilities while navigating complex government and military settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading operational planning within a military context, preferably at multi-star headquarters.
• Exposure to large staff planning through professional military education or service experience.
• Familiarity with major military planning exercises and software deployment on classified networks.
• Proven ability to expand business presence within a customer location with software or technology solutions.
• Experience in customer support, both face-to-face and remote, coordinating with customers and product engineering teams.
• Strong technical skills to master our application, troubleshoot issues and liaise with customers on technical matters.
• Proven ability to navigate large government organizations, solve bureaucratic challenges, and deliver successful outcomes.
• Current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and ability to access DoD facilities and installations.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate user needs to the product team and maintain high product proficiency.
• Understand, request, and effectively leverage resources to meet the goals of the Company.
• Lead or support exercises.
• Use observations of users to recommend product improvements.
• Identify gaps between directorate workflows and Onebrief usage, driving adoption through hands-on configuration and coaching.
• Coordinate responses to incidents and liaise with product engineering during outages or issues.
• Align team efforts to deliver the best customer experience and coordinate with other Partner Engagement Managers for synchronization.
• Enable expansion and upsell opportunities by conveying the Onebrief value proposition to Allies and Partners.
