Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a seasoned Sales professional to drive bid opportunities in the Smyrna area. You will build relationships with general contractors and government agencies, use Salesforce and Construct Connect to identify opportunities, and prepare price quotes with SafQuote.

You’ll ensure timely contracting and billing while supporting site teams with clear direction. The role requires experience in scaffold/work access sales, cost estimating, Salesforce usage, and a construction

Qualifications

• Prior experience in scaffold and work access sales, particularly contracts involving labor.
• Prior experience cost estimating scaffold and work access projects.
• Prior experience with Salesforce in a construction configuration.
• Prior construction industry experience.
• Engineering/drafting/construction estimating background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of prospecting for bid opportunities in the sales territory.
• Develop relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, mechanical contractors, manufacturing facilities, architects, and government agencies to generate bid opportunities.
• Use Salesforce to identify opportunities and document bid activity, review leads from Construct Connect, and tag in Salesforce.
• Communicate how our products meet customer needs and identify future needs.
• Visit job sites to gather information for price quotes.
• Assemble equipment & material lists, estimate man hours, determine freight, and create quotes in SafQuote.
• Coordinate with contracts and project controls to process contracts and ensure timely billing.
• Be present on job sites to guide construction crews and ensure direction.
• Work with prequalification to secure new customers and bidder lists.
• Assess bid opportunities for upsell of BrandSafway access products.
• Report weekly activity to regional and branch sales managers.
