Job summary

EnviroTech Services is hiring an Outbound Freight Manager to own the end-to-end outbound logistics strategy, including 3PL negotiations, carrier setup, and cost controls. You will pilot AI-enabled dispatch and routing within TMS and ERP platforms, while collaborating with IT, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize network design and budgeting.

The role leads carrier relationships, develops cost-saving models, and participates in SIOP processes to support executive decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of outbound freight/transportation management, dispatch, or logistics operations.
• Proven experience negotiating rates and contracts with 3PLs, brokers, and carriers.
• Hands-on experience with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle TMS, SAP TM, MercuryGate, Blue Yonder, Manhattan) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Direct experience integrating or deploying AI agents, RPA, or automation tools into logistics/dispatch workflows.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Owns the outbound freight function end-to-end, including 3PL and carrier negotiations, rate sheet development, carrier setup and allocation, and carrier scorecards, with accountability for reducing total delivered freight cost while maintaining service levels.
• Owns 3PL relationships including onboarding, documentation collection, and readiness support for external vendors in partnership with CXF and Logistics where needed.
• Manages the outbound network and routing strategy, establishing primary, secondary, and tertiary carrier options by lane and evaluating regional constraints to determine optimal mode and routing.
• Leads the identification, piloting, and scaling of AI agents and automation across dispatching, TMS, and ERP systems, ensuring clean data integration between planning, execution, and finance.
• Owns freight cost reporting and market benchmarking, developing models to identify savings opportunities and align with budget/forecast in partnership with Finance.
• Participates in monthly SIOP processes, providing freight capacity, risk assessments, network constraints, and transportation cost projections for executive decisions.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to align freight strategy with business objectives and contributes to network design, S&OP, and tech roadmap decisions.
• Builds fluency across the broader supply chain through exposure to inventory and demand planning and takes stretch assignments for long-term growth.
