Job summary

Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an Organizational Development Manager to lead learning and development initiatives across multiple client engagements in Virginia. The role focuses on translating business needs into impactful training aligned with culture and strategy.

Responsibilities include designing modules for in-person, self-paced, and eLearning formats, guiding cross-functional teams, and measuring outcomes. Hybrid work in Richmond with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in instructional design or organizational development
• Experience designing and delivering training using Articulate, PowerPoint or similar tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills for groups up to 30 people
• In-depth knowledge of instructional trends that use technology
• Experience working with global teams in a professional environment
• Ability to work in an accelerated pace environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of organizational development training programs based on client needs and learning objectives
• Develop customized training modules for face-to-face, self-paced, and eLearning platforms
• Manage materials to ensure rapid readiness and scalability while building core offering modules
• Assess clients’ organizational needs and design, implement, and evaluate tailored programs
• Collaborate with client leadership to understand culture and objectives
• Prepare and facilitate content to meet diverse learning needs
• Support scope development including success measures and change requests
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project timelines
• Develop and maintain pre- and post-assessments and roster data
• Serve as liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment
• Monitor service deliverables to maintain standards
