Langley Federal Credit Union is hiring a Full Time Organizational Development Specialist to work a Hybrid from our City Center office in Newport News, VA. The role leads engagement, onboarding, recognition, and performance management programs while guiding managers and People & Culture partners.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in organizational development or HR, with SHRM-CP/PHR preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational leadership, industrial-organizational psychology, business administration, or a related field is required.
Minimum of five years of experience in organizational development, talent management, or human resources.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is required.

Responsibilities

Supervises direct reports and reviews work, providing coaching and development.
Administers enterprise employee engagement surveys, analyzes results, and supports action planning.
Leads onboarding program design and execution, coordinating with hiring managers and People & Culture partners.
Manages employee recognition programs and engagement events.
Oversees the performance management cycle, including communications and tracking.
Coordinates the internship program and collaborates with department leaders on outcomes.
Develops career pathing tools, competency maps, and internal mobility resources.
Drafts and revises job descriptions across departments.
