Job summary

1199SEIU National Benefit Fund is seeking an experienced professional to partner with department leaders to identify operational improvements and prioritize actions. You will map workflows, conduct interviews, and assess process times, service goals, and technology opportunities to drive organization-wide impact.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, reporting metrics, and facilitating cross-functional teams while collaborating with senior management to implement approved changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in business, OD, HR, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in project management, business process analysis, operational improvement, or organizational assessment.
• Experience analyzing business processes, staffing alignment, and implementing system or process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis, project management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret operational data and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience preparing recommendations, dashboards, and reports for management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to identify and prioritize operational improvements.
• Understand each unit’s operations, strategy, challenges, service needs, and workforce requirements.
• Map workflows, responsibilities, procedures, reporting lines, structures, and staffing to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Conduct interviews, audits, data-gathering sessions, and workshops with staff and management.
• Assess process times, workflows, service goals, technology opportunities, system upgrades, and organization-wide impacts.
• Develop dashboards tracking key performance indicators across Funds.
• Identify data tools, sources, benchmarks, and targets for reporting and analysis.
• Facilitate employee-management teams to resolve complex departmental issues.
• Evaluate and communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities for management review.
