Job summary

Airbase is seeking a Strategy & Operations lead who will work directly with the CEO to win and execute on cross-functional scope, splitting time between go-to-market and business operations, owning outcomes end-to-end as the company grows.

You will plan and execute the federal pipeline, shape contracting strategy across OTAs, CSOs, SBIRs, BPAs, and GSA, and manage proposal operations, contracts, and finance support to keep programs on track in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, strategy, BD, acquisition, finance, or military leadership.
• Ability to own outcomes end-to-end and take on scope beyond your title.
• Strong writing and structured thinking.
• Excellent presentation and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Go-to-market and BD: plan and execute federal pipeline, map stakeholders and funding lines.
• Shape contracting strategy across OTAs, CSOs, SBIRs, BPAs, and GSA; manage partnerships.
• Own proposal operations from kickoff to submission with engineers and domain experts.
• Keep active programs on track: deliverables, milestones, reporting, and client relationships.
• Business operations: contracts and legal ops, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close with accountants.
• Take on high-priority special projects for the CEO and build scalable processes.
