Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Manager of Business Operations in Product Engineering to lead daily operations for the Bedrock LCR portfolio, driving efficiency and financial performance. You will collaborate with legal, content engineering, and risk teams to implement strategic plans and deliver data-driven insights to leadership.

This role requires 6+ years in strategy/operations, strong data and budgeting experience, and the ability to influence across functions in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, technology, finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing operational cadences at scale.
• Strong experience with large, complex data sets to create insightful, strategic views and dashboards.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience partnering with Finance for budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners in a matrixed environment.
• Hands-on communication skills, able to present clearly to senior leadership.
• Solid understanding of business operations, cross-departmental relationships, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for the Bedrock LCR portfolio to support objectives and financial goals.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resources, products, and services.
• Develop metrics for capturing, analyzing, and reporting operating effectiveness; deliver BI reports to senior management.
• Contribute to pillar-level strategic planning, resource forecasting, budget management, and workforce data initiatives.
• Direct and review the work of enabling functions and administrative operational partners.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex operational challenges by adapting frameworks and offering innovative perspectives.
• Establish, maintain, and negotiate relationships with key external vendors.
