Job summary

Zip is seeking a Director, Strategic Operations to work directly with our US CEO at the center of strategy, decision‑making and execution for Zip’s US business.

You’ll be a trusted thought partner, helping shape priorities, pressure-test decisions and turn strategy into action across the senior leadership team, translating executive priorities into critical conversations and enabling cross‑team progress.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience, including strategy consulting solving complex challenges.
• Experience working with CEOs and senior leaders on enterprise strategy and decisions.
• Track record from strategy creation to execution with measurable outcomes.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and ability to structure ambiguous problems.
• Commercial and financial acumen with KPI experience to evaluate trade-offs.
• Executive presence to influence and align senior leaders without formal authority.
• Ability to move between strategist, confidante, challenger, facilitator and doer.
• High ethical judgement, discretion, and a learning mindset.
• Experience using AI to create efficiencies and improve workflows.

• Lead cross‑functional initiatives spanning teams from definition to outcomes.
• Turn complex ideas into clear narratives for executives and stakeholders.
• Leverage AI and tools to improve research, synthesis, and workflows.
