Job summary

Zip is seeking a Director, External Communications to shape a clear, credible story about Zip, its products, and customers. This US‑led role requires a communications leader who can navigate the boardroom and newsroom, owning corporate, consumer, executive, and issues communications.

You will report to the Chief Customer & Marketing Officer and partner with Investor Relations, Legal, Finance, and regional leaders to prepare for public‑company milestones and ensure a consistent, high‑impact

Qualifications

• Strong executive counsel and writing/editing skills.
• Experience with earnings cycles and public disclosures.
• Proven media relationships across financial and business press.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the US external communications strategy and narrative.
• Lead media relations and proactive visibility programs for Zip.
• Advise and prepare executives for high‑profile external moments.
• Direct crisis communications and reputation management leadership.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, Finance, and other functions.
