Job summary

Texas Department of Transportation seeks a Business Services Coordinator to direct operational backbones in the Communications Division. This role oversees budgeting, contracts, invoicing, and financial reporting while coordinating with Creative Services, Conference Governance and other divisions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in accounting or business administration and at least 5 years in management or operations. On-site work in Austin with strong cross-functional leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; experience may substitute for degree.
• 5 years in management, business operations and administration or staff support.
• Graduate-level education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive operations including budgeting, contract administration and invoicing.
• Coordinate with divisions and districts to align projects and budgets.
• Support procurement, interagency contracts and financial reporting.
• Serve as liaison across TxDOT divisions to ensure project alignment.
