Job summary

CACI’s Strategic Operations Planner role supports USSOCOM by facilitating operational level planning, synchronization, and capability integration. The SOP analyzes USSOCOM capabilities, develops options for future investments, and coordinates with staff directorates to inform decision making.

The position requires TS/SCI clearance with poly, a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, plus 3+ years in military or IC compartmented work and Information Operations/SOF support.

Qualifications

• Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance; willing to submit to a Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience.
• More than three years of specialized experience in military or IC compartmented activities (IJSTO, SAP, ACCM, etc.).
• More than three years of specialized experience in Information Operations support (Planning/Intelligence) and/or SOF operations support.
• Be deployable to CONUS and OCONUS locations; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and future capabilities and their operational effectiveness against peer adversaries.
• Support development of operational planning teams for comprehensive analysis of capabilities.
• Coordinate with DoD, IA/IC, TSOCs, and GCCs to understand the operating environment and threats.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations to engage with stakeholders and conduct KLEs.
• Assist with staff functions such as mission analysis, briefings, and ongoing daily operations at the HQ.
