Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Strategic Plans and Policy Advisor to provide embedded planning support to USASOC/SOCOM and other agencies. You will deliver accurate strategic, operational, and country-specific planning, analyses, and assessments to support SOCOM mission priorities.

You will coordinate with USASOC, GCCs, TSOCs, and other partners, mentoring junior planners and shaping CONOPs/EXORDs while leveraging data-driven approaches to threat assessment and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of SOF experience, or 15+ years in SOF.
• Minimum of three years coordinating operations in a tactical, operational, or strategic role within a DoD contract.
• Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision in joint/interagency environments.
• Knowledge of portals and real-time knowledge management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic documentation for OPLANs, CONOPS, EXORDS.
• Develop CONOPs and CONEMPs for ARSOF missions.
• Brief concepts and final planning documents to executive audiences.
• Provide strategic planning and policy development for large projects.
• Maintain liaison with interagency partners to incorporate data from national systems.
• Support analysis to identify adversarial intent and threat courses of action.
• Supervise and mentor junior Strategic Planners.
• Collaborate with TF 40-25 workforce to enhance understanding of strategic documents.
