Datavant is seeking a Strategic Operations Analyst to act as the analytical engine of the Risk Adjustment COO and leadership, turning complex data into actionable insights and tools. You’ll build models, dashboards, and lightweight automations to inform strategy and improve operations.

You will collaborate with finance, operations, and other teams, becoming a trusted partner who delivers executive-ready analyses and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in management consulting, finance, strategic planning, business analytics, or operational analyst roles in a high-growth setting.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills; able to build accurate, scalable models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience building tools with Google Apps Script, AI-assisted coding, or similar; able to assess options and recommend the best-fit solution.
• Strong analytical skills; able to structure ambiguous problems, work with complex datasets, and extract actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to turn data into clear, compelling stories for senior leadership in Google Slides.
• Self-starter who takes ownership, brings ideas forward, and is eager to learn and grow through feedback.

Responsabilités

• Own KPI trend analysis, diagnose variances, and perform root-cause analyses to drive action.
• Build and maintain operational and financial models (capacity, throughput, staffing, scenarios) to inform strategy and evaluate initiatives.
• Turn complex data into clear insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-ready materials.
