Job summary

Datavant is seeking an Analytics & Strategy professional to join the Strategic Operations team. You will turn complex data into actionable insights, build models, and create tools that drive business decisions alongside senior leaders.

Leading KPI analyses and developing scalable solutions with Google Apps Script and AI workflows will be core. You will partner with operations and finance, influence strategy, and grow through strategic projects in a high-growth healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in management consulting, finance, strategic planning, business analytics, or an operational analyst role.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills; able to build accurate, scalable models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience building tools with Google Apps Script, AI-assisted coding, or similar; able to assess options and recommend best-fit solutions.
• Strong analytical skills; able to structure ambiguous problems, work with complex datasets, and extract actionable insights.
• High standard for accuracy and rigor; able to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to turn data into clear, compelling stories for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the analysis leadership relies on: monitor KPI trends, diagnose variances, and perform root cause analyses.
• Build and maintain operational and financial models to inform business strategy and evaluate initiatives.
• Turn complex data into clear, concise insights and executive-ready materials.
• Identify manual processes, then build best-fit solutions using Google Apps Script or AI workflows.
• Build and maintain dashboards and lightweight programs for timely leadership visibility and time savings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance to ensure analytics drive decisions.
