Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Business Operations Analyst to analyze operational performance across programs, identify trends and risks, and translate data into actionable recommendations. You will prepare executive summaries, support strategic planning, and monitor program health while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Colorado.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, operational performance, strategy, consulting, program management, or related discipline.
• Experience analyzing business performance and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience supporting leadership teams with decision-making and strategic planning.
• Experience working across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to identify patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities from multiple information sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and executive communication capabilities.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational performance across programs and functions.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps impacting objectives.
• Interpret data from systems, reports, audits, reviews, and stakeholder feedback.
• Evaluate performance and recommend improvements to effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability.
• Prepare executive summaries, business reviews, and leadership briefings.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Assess initiatives, process changes, and business programs.
• Identify emerging issues and opportunities before they become challenges.
• Support prioritization by clarifying operational impacts, risks, and outcomes.
• Assist with business cases and operational assessments.
• Monitor operational performance and program health.
• Evaluate adherence to objectives and operational standards.
• Identify recurring issues and areas needing oversight.
• Support governance discussions and performance reviews.
• Promote accountability through fact-based analysis and visibility.
• Identify process, workflow, and customer experience improvements.
• Analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Support process improvement and transformation initiatives through research and tracking.
• Measure and communicate improvement effectiveness.
• Partner with Business Operations leaders on priorities and performance objectives.
• Facilitate discussions around trends, risks, challenges, and opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to operational and executive audiences.
• Translate complex information into clear, actionable insights as a trusted advisor.
