Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable Business Analyst to analyze complex processes, collect stakeholder needs, and design system solutions aligned with business goals. You will manage end-to-end implementations, develop functional specs, and lead analytics projects in a real estate-adjacent domain.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong SQL/Tableau/Power BI skills, and familiarity with MLS products, Agile methods, and SDLC.

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of directly related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Matrix or MLS products.
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, including SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies.
• Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the real estate or adjacent industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes, workflows, and systems to identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into clear requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement system solutions aligned with business goals.
• Manage end-to-end implementations.
• Create business and technical documentation, functional specifications, system design documents, and test plans.
• Conduct system testing and validation and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
• Perform data analysis, query writing, and report development.
• Lead and mentor analysts and manage projects.
• Communicate with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and build consensus.
• Act as a subject matter expert on systems and processes.
• Drive internal process improvements.
