Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior data analyst to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive strategic reporting across the business. You will develop dashboards, identify trends, and communicate findings to executives to inform decisions.

The role requires 7+ years in data analysis with expertise in BI tools, Python, and R, plus strong stakeholder management. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, onsite in Virginia.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Synthesise complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
• Subject matter expertise within a business area or specialization.
• Expert proficiency with BI applications and cloud services.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, and reporting capabilities.
• Strong statistics, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations.
• Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions.
• Identify trends; prepare reports and data visualizations.
• Produce KPI reports and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve processes and forecast costs, risks, and profits.
• Connect data components and address data gaps for visualizations.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and inform business strategy.
• Lead medium- to large-scale projects and mentor staff.
