Job summary

Clear Street is seeking a client onboarding associate in New York to partner with Sales and Trading, futures clearing, investment banking, and legal/compliance on all facets of the client lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding. You will join a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on delivering best-in-class onboarding experiences for institutional clients.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in Client Onboarding (Equities Prime Brokerage, Futures Clearing, or Security-Based Swaps).
Client-focused with ability to maintain relationships through market cycles and product innovations.
Strong team player, open to feedback, and capable of working cross-functionally.
Basic understanding of FINRA and SEC regulatory requirements in Prime Brokerage and SBSD environments.
Familiar with core AML and KYC requirements for institutional clients such as hedge funds and asset managers.
Willing to learn screening tools like WorldCheck and CLEAR and perform basic research for KYC reports.

Responsibilities

Lead client onboarding, new account openings, periodic refreshes and offboarding across teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Trading, and Compliance on the client lifecycle.
Assist with KYC due diligence and escalate issues under senior guidance.
Help shape onboarding processes in a fast-growing, innovative environment.
