Job summary

Clear Street is seeking a Client Onboarding Senior Associate in New York to partner with sales and trading, futures clearing, investment banking, securities finance, and client service across the full client lifecycle.

You will own onboarding, new account openings, periodic refreshes, and offboarding, collaborating with legal and compliance; join a fast-paced, collaborative team shaping onboarding processes for institutional clients including hedge funds and asset managers.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Client Onboarding, preferably in Equities Prime Brokerage, Futures Clearing and Security-Based Swaps.
• Proficient in CFTC, FINRA and SEC regulatory requirements for onboarding of a Futures Commission Merchant, Equities Prime Broker and Security-Based Swap Dealer, respectively.
• Proficient in AML and Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding requirements for institutional clients including hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms and family offices; includes BSA, USA PATRIOT Act and FinCEN.
• Proven track record of building solid, long-standing relationships with front office colleagues and institutional clients.
• Client-focused and able to maintain relationships through market cycles and product innovations.
• Passionate about addressing root causes in prime services and articulating our mission with a modern tech-stack.
• Highly collaborative and able to work autonomously or as a team player when workload increases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and trading, futures clearing, investment banking, securities finance, trade support, client service, legal and compliance on all facets of the client life cycle including onboarding, new account openings, periodic refresh and client offboarding.
• Own onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding processes across the client lifecycle.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance on onboarding requirements for institutional clients.
• Shape how onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding processes are implemented at Clear Street.
