Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics operations with a focus on ocean imports. You will manage inbound/outbound shipments, 3PLs, and CBP compliance while leading a team to meet cost and service KPIs.

You will analyze data, forecast needs, and collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to optimize inventory and throughput. Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally is needed.

• Experience with ocean imports and international logistics.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent time/resource management; highly organized with multiple priorities.
• Experience in partner relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics staff and daily operations for on-time delivery and cost control.
• Manage logistics and inventory across 3PLs and ensure CBP compliance.
• Own all logistics costs incl. brokerage, taxes, and storage (not factory costs).
• Lead RFP/RFI/RFQ for transportation and 3PL services.
• Maintain HTS codes and duty/tariff rates in SAP.
• Drive KPIs via continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to optimize inventory and throughput.
• Provide forecasts, analytics and financial data for logistics decisions.
• Work with Director of Operations to implement strategy and improve processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and migrate data to SAP; automate workflows.
• Maintain a rolling 1-year Ocean Vessel Plan (OVP).
