Job summary

Related Affordable seeks an Occupancy Manager to lead lease-ups and certifications for new developments in the Northern California Bay Area. You will oversee occupancy operations, ensure compliance with LIHTC programs, and coordinate with managers, compliance staff, and partners to maintain audit-ready files.

The role focuses on accurate income certifications, advantageous occupancy performance, and effective resident communication across LIHTC, MOHCD, HOME, and other subsidies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on affordable housing occupancy experience.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, MOHCD, HOME, and other local subsidy programs.
• Experience managing affordable housing lease-ups and income certifications.
• Supervisory or property-management experience in affordable housing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day occupancy operations for developments in the Northern California Bay Area.
• Oversee initial lease up including first year recertifications and workflows.
• Manage staff and monitor productivity; provide coaching and training.
