Related Affordable seeks an Occupancy and Recertification Specialist to manage LIHTC-based certifications, rent calculations, and resident documentation. You will engage prospective and current residents, ensuring accuracy and compliance while fostering a welcoming community.

Qualifications

LIHTC policies and procedures knowledge required.
Detail-oriented with deadline-driven schedule.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
2-4 years leasing experience.
Committed to exceeding expectations in service.
Demonstrates determination and willingness to improve.
Believes in teamwork and diversity of thought.
Trustworthy and reliable to do the right thing.

Responsibilities

Process certifications (initial, interim, and annual) and calculate retroactive rent per HUD guidelines.
Collect documentation from residents and process verifications.
Apply correct rents for annual/interim recertification and adjust for compliance.
Prepare rent repayment agreements and explain calculations to residents.
Review EIV reports and resolve discrepancies.
Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
