Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with master's degree or master's degree in nursing; exceptions considered if enrolled in a master's program.
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current clinical nursing license in the state of practice.
• Magnet-recognized certification for the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments, divisions, programs, services and/or locations; 24/7 accountability.
• Provide support, guidance, and supervision to team members; conduct annual and mid-year reviews and coaching.
• Recommend department goals and track progress; communicate timelines, risks, and decisions to leadership.
• Ensure policies meet Joint Commission and regulatory standards; update policies as regulations evolve.
• Handle escalations and coordinate patient care resources across lifespans.
• Other duties as assigned.
