Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with master’s degree (or enrolled in a master’s program within 1 year of completion)
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Current clinical nursing license in the state of the hospital
• Magnet recognition certification for specialty area

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments, divisions, programs, services and/or locations with 24/7 accountability.
• Provide supervision to team members, ensure competency and address behavioral, social, financial, and environmental issues for patients.
• Recommend department goals and communicate timelines, risks, and decisions to leadership.
• Ensure policies meet Joint Commission and regulatory standards and drive quality improvement.
• Manage patient care coordination by addressing age-specific needs and coordinating resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
