Job summary

Flowserve in Charlotte, NC seeks a Production Planner to coordinate production planning and scheduling for nuclear pump manufacturing, repairs, and components. You will collaborate with project managers, leadership, quality, purchasing and shipping to meet customer commitments and delivery schedules.

3+ years in production planning in manufacturing, with strong scheduling, material planning, and problem-solving skills. Requires U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production planning, scheduling or materials planning in manufacturing.
• Understanding of scheduling logic, capacity and demand planning, routings and standards.
• Familiarity with machining, assembly, welding, NDE, and hydrostatic testing.
• Proficiency with MS Office and business software tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities based on capacity, materials and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain schedules, routings and work orders for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with purchasing, quality, inventory, and shipping to align resources with demand.
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules for shortages or changing requirements.
• Lead planning meetings and communicate status, risks and changes to stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks and inventory issues, supporting continuous improvement.
