Job summary

All In One Accounting in the Twin Cities seeks a strategic nonprofit CFO to own a book of client relationships and provide executive-level financial leadership to mission-driven organizations.

You will be the primary relationship owner, guiding realization, utilization, NPS, retention, and growth for your accounts, while reporting to the Managing Director and leading a team of senior controllers and accountants.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience with nonprofits.
• Experience in executive-level financial advisory and client relationship ownership.
• Deep expertise in nonprofit GAAP, fund accounting, audit management, and grant compliance.
• Demonstrated track record of LMA — leading and developing accounting teams.
• Excellence in board-level communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship including realization, utilization, NPS, retention, and growth for your full book of nonprofit clients.
• Serve as the primary strategic advisor and relationship lead for Executive Directors, boards, and nonprofit leadership teams.
• Identify and proactively address account risks.
• Deliver accurate and timely financials on budget for every client on your book.
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with each client's mission and organizational objectives.
• Lead board and finance committee presentations and financial reporting.
• Create financial models to evaluate program sustainability, growth decisions, and funding scenarios.
