Job summary

Raise the Future is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial planning, oversight of grants and contracts, and the integration of financial strategy with program growth. The role requires hands-on leadership in a multi-state nonprofit environment and collaboration with the CEO, board, and senior leadership.

The CFO will manage a diverse funding mix, strengthen reserves, improve forecasting, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance in a multi-state nonprofit.
• Oversight of grants management and budgeting.
• Ability to translate financial information for non-financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO and SLT to set long-term financial strategy.
• Lead multi-year financial planning and budgeting.
• Oversee grants, contracts, and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop financial dashboards and modeling.
• Build and mentor Finance team.
