Job summary

Rung for Women seeks a Chief Financial Officer to guide financial health, risk management and operational stewardship in support of our mission. You will lead finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and resource allocation.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape enterprise strategy, oversee audits, and build scalable processes. This role requires 10+ years in nonprofit finance and strong data-to-insight translation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or other relevant master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience leading teams.
• Nonprofit financial management experience preferred.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and Finance Committees preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and participate in enterprise planning.
• Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Oversee audits, compliance, risk management, and financial controls.
• Provide executive oversight of operations and administrative infrastructure.
• Partner with leadership to resource organizational priorities and growth.
