Job summary

Jewish Silicon Valley is seeking a results-driven Chief Financial Officer to guide financial strategy, governance, and reporting for a growing nonprofit in the Silicon Valley community. This executive role partners with the CEO and board to drive sustainable growth.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, audits, investment accounting, and capital campaigns while building trust with staff, volunteers, donors, and partners to advance the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership, communication and relationship building in not-for-profit and/or for-profit environments.
• Senior level finance or accounting experience in not-for-profit and/or for-profit settings.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and fiscal/fiduciary guidelines for non-profits.
• Direct annual forecasting and budgeting for all departments and initiatives.
• Coordinate annual independent audit and consolidate financial statements.
• Provide leadership for investment accounting and committees.
• Present financial position reports to the Board.
