Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, reporting, and governance for the organization. The CFO will oversee budgeting, treasury, endowments, donor-advised funds, and audits, partnering closely with the CEO, COO, and board committees.

Ideal candidates bring senior nonprofit financial leadership, CPA and/or MBA, and a track record of managing complex funding and regulatory requirements while advancing strategic mission impact.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in financial leadership roles
• Experience with nonprofit accounting principles and donor-advised funds
• Proven ability to work with boards, volunteers, and leadership teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, reporting, and controls
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term fiscal planning
• Partner with CEO/COO and committees to drive strategy and stewardship
