Job summary

Tapestry Health seeks a Chief Financial Officer to guide the financial future of a Western Massachusetts nonprofit. You’ll lead a six-person finance team, oversee budgeting, grants, and reporting, and partner with program leaders to ensure responsible funding and cash management.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of accounting and finance experience in nonprofits.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience with grant accounting, budgeting, and audits.
• Ability to lead a finance team and communicate with leadership and the board.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, ledgers, reconciliations, and GAAP reporting.
• Lead budgeting and long-term financial planning.
• Explain results to the board and CEO.
• Oversee grant accounting and reporting to funders.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and manage investments.
• Lead audit preparation and work with external auditors.
• Coach and develop the finance team.
• Collaborate with program leaders on budgets.
