Job summary

CultureSeekers LLC seeks an accomplished financial leader to drive the organization’s financial strategy and planning. You will oversee an operating budget exceeding $27 million, including federal/state funding and grants, and collaborate with the CEO and executive team to steer financial operations.

You will manage audits, compliance, and contract proposals with government and funding agencies, ensuring internal controls and robust financial reporting to the Board.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of full-time professional accounting experience, nonprofit auditing knowledge.
• 3+ years of accounting supervisory experience in a nonprofit behavioral health setting.
• Proven experience managing government contracts with City/County funding mechanisms.
• Proficiency with Blackbaud Financial Edge, Sage Intacct, MIP Fund Accounting or AccuFund is highly preferred.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial management and oversight for an operating budget exceeding $27 million across Federal, State, local funding, private contracts, and grants.
• Develop annual budget plan and address operational issues to meet targets.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, forecasts, and analyses to the CEO.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for the Board on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Establish internal control systems and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards.
• Manage annual independent audits, pension plan audits, and government tax filings.
• Prepare new contract proposals and renewals with City and County of San Francisco and other funding agencies.
